Hi friends, I’ve been quiet in this space lately (sometimes wordpress acts up on my phone, which is where I prefer to blog), but there has been some knitting, some vacationing, some coursework, and lots of baby steps toward starting work in a few weeks.

I’m currently knitting three shawls at the same time, which is unheard of for me, but there is a good reason for each of them; 1) because I really want a neutral gray shawl, 2) because of Colorpalooza, and 3) because it’s a Don’t Panic Mystery Shawl Knitalong and I find it hard to resist Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy-themed knits!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve had a bear sighting, but today I was alerted to this guy!  Thorin Bear has been spotted in Africa with his new owner!
