A beach and a bear

It’s hot here in the San Francisco Bay Area! As such, we spent some time this afternoon at Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands. Somehow I only took one photo!

It was warm and lovely.

I’ve been working steadily on my bears, have I told you why? The reason is twofold. Firstly, I haven’t been sighting my bears in the wild because I haven’t SENT any bears since early last Fall. Bear sightings are truly inspirational for bear knitters, but to see bears, one must keep knitting bears… Secondly, my bear stash yarn is over 1/4 of my total yarn stash, which is modest, trust me, but still, I’d like to knit it down! Therefore, I’m working hard on bears these days!

This is P bear, I’m thinking of naming him Paul after my older brother.

Aside from knitting and beaching, I also spent a good deal of time today on my KonMari decluttering, and we took 6 bags of things to Goodwill. Space has been cleared, I feel refreshed, and my husband is getting motivated to get involved as well. Yeah!

I hope you are having a nice weekend as well!!
